Chem 110 Geometric Isomers

The following videos should be viewed as part of your preparation for the Geometric Isomers experiment. You can view them below or you can visit our YouTube channel and view them there. All videos are available in full HD quality and can be viewed in full screen.

The Bunsen Burner (3:13)

If you already viewed this when preparing for the Caffeine lab, then you'll already know it all!  If not, it's worthwhile checking this video out.  Students sometimes find it troublesome to ignite the gas on a laboratory Bunsen burner. This very short video clearly shows how to set up the Bunsen so that the gas will ignite easily.  Tha anatomy of the Bunsen flame is examined, allowing you to know how to best use the apparatus to your advantage. Such a lot of useful information packed into this very short video!
